GENETICsGENES :- heriditary units of living organ e.g height,colour,sweat,sour,earlymanufacture e.t.c
CHROMOSOME :- occur in identical chomologus pairs situated at the nuclues of all living cells.
MENDELS LAWS OF INHERITANCE
1- LAW OF DERMINANCE:- states that when two true breeding plants with contrasting characters is expressed in the first generation (f1) how every both character are recovered in the second generation (f2).
the character that was able to express it self in the F1 is called dorminant character while the other which was unable to express it self is called recessive character.
2- LAW OF SEGREGATION:- this law state that their is a pair of allele for each character and that these alleles are trasmitted separately.
- ie each parent transmits one allele for each character through its genetes.
- each individual (child) will carry 2 allele (a pair) for each character i each from both parents.
3- LAW OF INDEPENDENT ASSORTMENT :- state that irrespective of the number of character or behavours segregating simultameously in a cross,each character or trait will assort independently of each other.
